A number of courses are mandatory to meet WorkSafeBC and UBC requirements. For all UBC personnel, you are required to complete the mandatory health and safety training as well as the mandatory privacy & information security training. Supervisors are also required to complete the mandatory training for all supervisors.
Upon completion, please send Edythe Grant (email@example.com) the digital certificates for the safety courses for record keeping.
In addition to completing the “Autoclave Training” course offered through Safety and Risk Management at: https://wpl.ubc.ca/, the Department of Zoology requires members that are planning on using autoclaves for their work, or research, to undergo in-department autoclave safety training.
